7.Satan's attack follows a predictable sequence: temptation (suggestion), participation (foothold), infiltration (influence), and domination (control).
8.Freedom requires releasing the 'residue'—the emotional and mental muscle memory of past dysfunction—by allowing the Holy Spirit to cleanse and inhabit every area of life.

Establish clear boundaries ('chains') in areas of personal vulnerability to protect yourself from spiritual and relational unhinging.
Recognize current temptations as disguised traps rather than genuine help, shutting down satanic suggestions before moving into participation.
Refuse to give the devil a foothold by resolving anger and conflict quickly rather than letting offense stew overnight.
Repent immediately when you recognize sinful participation, changing your mindset and direction before infiltration takes root.
Physically remove objects, environments, contacts, or media from your life that trigger or maintain connections to past dysfunction.
Pray through the sermon's cleansing prayer daily, asking the Holy Spirit to wash lingering mental muscle memory and replace old patterns with spiritual renewal.
