By accessing or using Hello Pastor ("the Service") — including our website at hellopastor.ai and our mobile application — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Hello Pastor is an AI-powered pastoral assistant that offers biblical context, encouragement, and insights from a Christian perspective. The Service helps you explore Scripture, reflect on verses, and find pastoral encouragement. It is a supplement to — not a replacement for — your Bible, your church, and pastoral care.

3. Use of AI; Limitations

Hello Pastor uses artificial intelligence (including third-party systems such as Google Gemini) to generate responses. AI can make mistakes. Responses are not guaranteed to be theologically precise, complete, or appropriate for every situation. Do not rely on the Service for legal, medical, or crisis advice. For serious pastoral or personal needs, please seek care from a qualified pastor, counselor, or professional.

Your use of the Service is at your own risk. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on content generated by the Service.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the rights of others or harass anyone
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or abused the Service.

Scripture references and quotations may be from public-domain or licensed texts; the selection and presentation are part of our Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hello Pastor and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the Service or from any content generated by the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hello Pastor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
