Key Points

1.Arrogance makes a person a magnet for deception, whereas biblical humility protects us from self-deception.
2.Good intentions alone are not enough to protect you from being subtly corrupted by bad company.
3.Evolution does not always mean elevation; changing in life does not automatically mean you are growing spiritually.
4.True arrogance is not knowing your gifts, but forgetting the God who gave them to you.

7.Setting relational boundaries is not about giving up on people, but giving people up to God.
8.Following Jesus' model, we must structure relationships into our 3 (inner circle friends), 12 (associates), and 70 (broader acquaintances) to prevent misplaced access.

This Week

Examine your closest inner circle and evaluate if those relationships encourage spiritual growth or cause you to revert to past habits.
Identify any 'Lot guilt' where past history is keeping you tied to unhealthy relational patterns in the present.
Re-categorize your relationships intentionally into inner circle friends, associates, and general acquaintances.
Practice humility daily by acknowledging God as the sole source of your gifts, talents, and elevation.
Refrain from taking on non-sinful compromises by inviting people into seasons God called you to walk through without them.
Ask God for the wisdom and courage needed to establish clear emotional and spiritual boundaries this week.
Pray for the people you need to release, trusting God to work in their lives without your constant intervention.

Remember This

You must establish wise boundaries for your friendships so that non-essential relationships do not disrupt the destiny God has planned for you.

A Challenge for You

Do not let guilt over past history keep you from setting the present boundaries required to steward your God-given future.
