5.5. Failing to exercise relational intelligence leads to future regret, unnecessary emotional wounds, and wasted time, talent, and treasure.
6.6. Discernment is the capability to recognize fruit and respond accordingly, distinguishing what is beneficial or toxic for your specific life assignment.
7.7. Inspecting fruit is not judging a tree's value before God; it is determining whether that fruit is healthy or harmful for you.
8.8. Potential represents what someone could be, but it does not guarantee who they will become without their personal commitment and growth.
9.9. Boundaries do not protect you from love and relationships; they protect you for healthy love and flourishing relationships.

Observe people's consistent behavior and trust what your experience shows you rather than ignoring warning signs.
Practice listening to the Holy Spirit's inner promptings and warnings regarding who to trust and when to pivot.
Pay close attention to speech patterns and content, recognizing that a person's words will eventually reveal their heart.
Establish clear personal boundaries to protect your heart from unnecessary emotional wounds.
Re-evaluate relationships across different life seasons, adjusting seating on your 'bus' as people grow or regress.

Discernment requires actively using your eyes, heart, and ears to inspect fruit so you can set healthy boundaries and manage your relationships wisely.

A Challenge for You

We're going to be fruit inspectors and we're going to see the favor of God on our life and on our relationships in a unique way when we steward those relationships well. Use your eyes, use your heart, and use your ears in Jesus' name.
