4. Assess your personal health in relationships by asking, 'Is my soul becoming healthier and more secure in who I am since being in this connection?'
5. Practice mutual submission in your marriage by acknowledging your liabilities and deferring to your spouse's strengths and wisdom.
6. Take active relational responsibility by prioritizing your spouse's emotional and physical needs rather than taking their commitment for granted.
7. Foster a safe atmosphere in your home where your spouse feels comfortable being fully seen and known with all their flaws without fear of judgment.
