Challenge and reframe the negative internal narratives you tell yourself that justify defensive, fearful, or dishonest behavior.
Seek out helpful resources such as Christian counseling, therapy, or specialized recovery programs to work through lingering trauma.
Have honest, constructive conversations with family members to address repeated generational patterns before they are passed down.
Invite the Holy Spirit daily to govern your reactions, helping you manage emotional impulses and choose truth over fear when triggered.
