Summary

Pastor Louie Giglio emphasizes that knowing and worshipping Jesus personally is far greater than merely receiving physical or material blessings from Him. Drawing from the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 and evidence of spiritual revival across the globe, he encourages believers to move beyond a consumer mindset and recognize that God is actively moving today. True discipleship and biblical generosity flow from hearts captivated by who Jesus is, seeking His presence and living for His name and renown above all else.

Pastor's Points

1.

God is moving all around us.

2.

We are called to step with God into the above and beyond.

3.

Where God leads, God provides.

Key Points

1.
Out of ten lepers healed by Jesus, only one returned to fall at His feet, showing that true faith values knowing and worshipping Jesus far more than merely receiving physical blessings or healing from Him.
2.
God is actively working around the world through a spiritual awakening, highlighted by historic surges in Bible purchases driven by first-time buyers among young adults.
3.
Stepping into God's vision often requires stepping beyond available human resources into moments of total reliance on Him.
4.
Where God leads, He faithfully provides the necessary support and resources, often through miraculous timing and unexpected ways.
5.
The core purpose of the Christian life is not centered on events, programs, or gatherings, but on glorifying God's name and making His renown the ultimate desire of our souls.
6.
Biblical generosity and kingdom vision arise when the Holy Spirit transforms believers to view their possessions not as their own, but as tools for God's glory.
7.
Believers are invited to move away from a consumer mindset that asks what they can get from God, to a surrendered life that seeks first His kingdom and desires more of His presence.
8.

This Week

Take time this week to express personal gratitude to Jesus for who He is, not just for the physical or material blessings He provides.

Set aside dedicated time each day to seek God's presence, listen to His voice, and pray for spiritual revival in your community.

Memorize and meditate on Isaiah 26:8, aligning your daily desires and motives with the name and renown of Jesus.

Evaluate your financial stewardship and pray about stepping into greater generosity to advance God's kingdom.

Step beyond your comfort zone and current resources in faith when you sense God leading you into new assignments.

Surrender ownership of your possessions, viewing everything you own as belonging to God to be used for His purposes.

Encourage a friend or family member by sharing evidence of how God is moving in the world today.

Remember This

There is nothing better than knowing and worshipping Jesus, and true life is found when His name and renown become the ultimate desire of our souls.
