Pastor's Points
Key Points
- 1.Understand the power of transparency.
- 2.Find a community.
- 3.Let no sin have secrecy.
- 4.Discover constant God conduit.
- 5.We must exercise extreme caution about who we lease our ear to during vulnerable, exhausting, or decision-making seasons of life.
- 6.Every believer is spiritually pregnant with purpose and destiny, which requires protection from spiritual bacteria and unwashed influences.
- 7.Just as 19th-century doctors unknowingly transferred deadly bacteria from dead bodies to living mothers, bringing spiritual contamination from unwashed spirits into vulnerable moments destroys divine calling.
- 8.What often feels like a hard season or a bad day is actually God inducing discomfort to move us beyond temporary, comfortable places.
Sermon Moments
“You and I must exercise extreme caution and be careful who we lease our ear to when we are vulnerable.”
“You don't want the wrong hands trying to help you give birth to your destiny, nor the wrong voices in your ear when you're trying to give birth to purpose.”
“What would my generation look like if we protected our soul like we protect our phones?”
“Some of us have been mislabeling the inducing of God as a bad day—you have parked in places you were ordained to pass through.”
“Jesus knew who to bleed in front of privately before He bled for everybody publicly.”
“Your inner circle needs three spiritual voices: a brother who loves (John), a brother who builds (James), and a brother who protects (Peter).”
“You cannot find your Peter, James, and John without being connected to a community of disciples.”

Guard your heart and ear during vulnerable seasons, surrounding yourself only with godly community that loves, builds, and protects your God-given destiny.
A Challenge for You
God, please help us to not allow this word to be a flash fire word. I pray for healing for everybody who doesn't want to do life and doesn't want to do community because of trauma experienced in other places. Help them recognize that a bad representation isn't the whole view of Christianity. These are personal sermon notes shared to help you remember the message — not a replacement for Scripture, your church, or your pastors.
