Key Points

1.The goal of the church is to make true disciples of Jesus Christ, not merely passive church attenders.
2.Familiarity with holy things can destroy honor, cause us to devalue Christ's teaching, and rob us of God's best.
3.Unbelief acts as a barrier that limits the experience of God's power and work in our lives.
4.When facing spiritual warfare and trials, God invites believers to prove their devotion by remaining faithful and worshipful.
5.Believers must reject counterfeit comforts and make the presence of God their primary vice and sanctuary.
6.If you only view Jesus as a carpenter, He can build you a table, but if you view Him as the Son of God, He will transform your life.
7.True spiritual breakthrough requires exposing hidden idols, unconfessed sin, and worldliness through sincere prayer.
8.We are called to pray boldly against evil and actively interdict in the spiritual realm for the salvation of the lost.

Guard against spiritual familiarity by intentionally approaching Scripture and corporate worship with reverence and awe.
Set aside consistent, focused time this week to intercede specifically for unsaved family members and friends by name.
Practice active honor toward family members, church leaders, and fellow believers in your daily interactions.
Confess any hidden bitterness or unforgiveness to God and extend grace to those who have offended you.
Choose to worship God faithfully through trials rather than resorting to worldly escapes or complaints.

Remember This

Do not let familiarity with Jesus diminish your honor for Him; make His presence your ultimate refuge and allow Him to transform your heart.

Leave every troubling thought at the altar, deny worldly distractions, and let the peace and presence of God consume your mind, heart, and home.
