Summary

In this inspiring sermon, Lady Deandra Blake shares how God meets us in our deepest moments of desperation, pain, and distance. Drawing from Psalm 116, the story of the woman with the issue of blood, and her own story of transformation, she reminds believers that God hears every prayer and sees every sorrow. No matter how long you have carried an issue or how far you have strayed, Jesus is ready to heal, restore, and set you free when you call upon His name.

Key Points

1.
God inclines His ear to hear our prayers, no matter how simple or childlike they may sound.
2.
Desperation often leads us to step out in faith and reach out to Jesus when everything else has failed.
3.
The woman with the issue of blood suffered in shame and isolation for 12 years, but a single touch of faith from Jesus made her whole immediately.

Our words hold power, and God can redeem even the misspoken words and mistakes of our past.

Jesus meets us where we are—even far away from church and deep in worldly distraction—to reveal His overwhelming love and forgiveness.
6.
Your struggles and issues do not make you unworthy of God's love; they create an opportunity to experience His saving power.
7.
God uses the fiery trials and storms of life to refine our faith so that we come forth as pure gold.

The Lord does not just deliver us out of some afflictions; He promises to deliver us out of them all.
