Move past safe, safe-feeling prayers born out of fear of hurt, and begin asking God with open, expectant trust.
Step forward in active obedience to open the door to opportunities God has brought to your life.
Surrender personal habits or idols that compete with God's call, trusting His grace in the sacrifice.
Spend daily time in God's Word to build familiarity with His voice before times of crisis hit.
Keep praying earnestly for loved ones and difficult situations, even when past efforts seemed unsuccessful.

Remember This

God often answers our prayers directly, but past grief can lead us to explain away the very deliverance standing at our door.
