Summary

Focusing on Paul's prayer in Ephesians 1, Pastor Louie Giglio encourages believers to pray daily for a spirit of wisdom and revelation so they can know Christ better. While head knowledge and theological information inform us, true spiritual revelation opens our spiritual eyes and transforms our daily walk. When God lightens the eyes of our heart, our spiritual imagination is reawakened to comprehend the hope of our calling, the vast inheritance we possess in Christ, and the resurrection power working within us.

This Week

Pray Paul's prayer in Ephesians 1 daily for the rest of the year, asking God for a spirit of wisdom and revelation.

Shift your spiritual focus from collecting head knowledge (information) to seeking an intimate relationship with Jesus (revelation).

Reflect on the hope of your calling in Christ whenever you feel tempted to lose heart or give up on your dreams.

Reject a pauper mentality by remembering the spiritual riches and complete provision stored up for you in Christ.

Face daunting situations with confidence, relying on the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead.

Stay actively connected and committed to your local church, where Christ's power and fullness are expressed.

Ask God to reawaken your spiritual imagination to see the great things He can still accomplish in and through your life.

Remember This

Praying daily for spiritual wisdom and revelation opens the eyes of our heart to know Christ more intimately and live in His resurrection power.
