This Week

Combat intrusive or tormenting thoughts by taking them captive and actively replacing them with the truth of God's Word.
Practice 'second-mile service' at your workplace or home by intentionally going above and beyond what is required.
Surrender your personal ambitions for your children's future, praying that they walk in the specific good works God prepared for them.
Refuse to condemn yourself for a season of spiritual coldness, turning instead to Jesus with the honest prayer: 'Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me.'
Encourage a fellow believer in Christ this week with a timely word of affirmation, recognizing how God uses simple encouragement to lift heavy hearts.

Remember This

No matter how cold your heart feels or how much spiritual ground you have lost, Jesus in His mercy is ready to meet you in the secret place and restore your spiritual vision, fire, and intimacy.

A Challenge for You

Stop condemning yourself for your stray; just recognize where you have strayed and cry out like those men: 'Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me.'
