1.Church culture is like smoke in the air; what you participate in or allow in private ultimately permeates the whole environment.

Build a private history with God this week by spending focused time reading Scripture and praying in solitude.
Practice listening to the Good Shepherd's voice by obeying His promptings to forgive, give, or turn away from temptation.
Commit to active community by serving on a church team, joining a small group, or participating in outreach.
Protect sound doctrine by focusing on the pure gospel of Jesus rather than adopting legalistic 'Jesus plus' mentalities.
Confront personal sins like envy, jealousy, or gossip immediately when they attempt to take root in your heart.
Pray regularly for your church pastors and elders as they exercise spiritual oversight and care for the congregation.

Protecting church culture begins with following the Good Shepherd and diligently guarding your own heart against hidden sin.
