Develop a habit of continual, conversational prayer throughout the day rather than praying only during emergencies.
Evaluate whether your daily mindset is aligned with the Spirit (biblical) or the flesh (secular and self-pleasing).
When tempted or experiencing wrong desires, intentionally walk in the Spirit so His power can overrule the flesh.
Trust God's answer in prayer whether He says slow, no, grow, or go.

Everything physical is preceded by the spiritual, and prayer in the Spirit is the practical way believers put on Christ to overcome spiritual attack.
