Summary

God is the ultimate builder who invites us to partner with Him in building our lives, families, and callings according to His design. Drawing from the life of Noah, Pastor Robert Madu reminds us that building with God requires us to quiet life's distractions to listen for God-given ideas, follow His precise Word rather than our preferences, and trust His timing. When God delivers us through unexpected storms, our highest response is to construct an altar of heartfelt worship and praise.

Pastor's Points

1.

Listen for the God idea

2.

Follow God's instruction

3.

Trust God's timing

Key Points

1.
Listen for the God idea: Good ideas rely on human ability, but God ideas require radical faith and quiet proximity to the Lord.
2.
Follow God's instruction: You do not adjust God's plan to fit your life; you adjust your life to align with His Word.
3.
Trust God's timing: Just because your situation stops moving does not mean it is time to move ahead without God's clear signal.
4.
God is a builder who created us in His image, calling us to collaboratively build our lives, marriages, and relationships with Him.
5.
Walking in a daily, vibrant relationship with God positions us to hear His voice and receive clear direction for our lives.
6.
Distraction is destruction in slow motion; the enemy uses life's noise to prevent us from hearing God's whispers.
7.
All creation was pre-wired to obey its Creator; when you stay obedient to your assignment, God will direct the resources you need directly to you.
8.

“"A good idea might produce fame, but a God idea will produce fruit. A good idea will affect your destiny, but a God idea will affect your legacy."”

“"Distraction is the destruction of your dream in slow motion."”

“"Everything created was pre-wired to hear the voice of the Creator."”

“" You don't fix the plans for your life. You fix your life according to the plans."”

“"If your request is wrong, God will tell you no. If your timing is wrong, God will tell you slow. If you're not ready, God will tell you grow. But if the timing is right, if the request is right, and if you're ready, God will tell you go."”

“"When God brings you through a flood that you know you wouldn't have got out of if it wasn't for Him, the only thing for you to do... is to build an altar and to give God praise."”

This Week

Set aside quiet time daily to turn down the noise of life and listen for God's whisper.

Evaluate your current plans and ensure you are building according to God's precise biblical blueprint rather than personal preferences.

Surrender self-reliant "good ideas" and ask God for "God ideas" that require faith and dependence on Him.

Identify areas of distraction—such as social media or constant busyness—and create boundaries to guard your attention for God.

Practice patience in seasons of waiting, trusting God's timing instead of trying to force open closed doors.

Establish a habit of immediate gratitude by "building an altar" of praise whenever God brings you through a trial.

Prioritize a daily, vibrant walk with God through prayer and Scripture rather than treating faith as a weekly routine.

Remember This

Build your life according to God's exact blueprint by listening for His voice, following His instructions, and trusting His perfect timing.

A Challenge for You
