Look beyond the label of 'Christian' when dating to discern character, truthfulness, and spiritual maturity.
Address relational friction early when God calls you to take faith steps, ensuring you and your partner are aligned in obedience.
Guard against legalistic or overly judgmental tendencies in your own life and relationships, choosing grace and freedom in Christ.
Commit to hearing and obeying God's rhema word together in your household so you can plow effectively in the same direction.

Remember This

Being unequally yoked becomes a source of deep conflict as soon as you get serious about obeying God's voice and moving in faith.

Don't just ask if someone is a Christian—discern what kind of Christian they are and whether they are ready to obey God when He tells you both to move.
