Summary

In this message from Proverbs 3:5–10, Dr. Dharius Daniels teaches that your existence is not a cosmic accident, but an intentional design by God for this specific era. True purpose is being God's answer to a problem in the world through trust, full submission, and open-handed generosity. As believers move beyond merely praying for solutions to stepping up as God's answers, they experience true emotional and spiritual overflow.

Key Points

1.
Your existence on Earth is by God's strategic choice, not by relational accident or cosmic coincidence.
2.
God intentionally formed your unique strengths, personality, and abilities specifically for the time and era in which you live.
3.
At its core, purpose is being God's answer to a problem in the world around you.
4.
If you do not allow God to use you as an answer in people's lives, you risk being used by the enemy as a problem.
5.
Wisdom is relative across different life domains; spiritual maturity requires identifying and addressing where you lack sufficient wisdom for your current season.
6.
Trusting in the Lord means resting completely on His reliability, much like sitting firmly in a chair without fear of falling.
7.
True submission to God only happens when you obey despite not agreeing with or fully understanding His commands.
8.
Honoring God with your first fruits yields both material overflow to bless others and emotional wealth (joy) that defines your quality of life.
9.
God calls believers to be more than intercessors who pray about problems—He calls us to be the practical answers to those prayers.

“Great men and women are only born for the time they are needed the most.”

“Purpose is an answer to a problem.”

“God uses people to be answers to issues in other people's lives. When people don't allow God to use them to be answers, Satan uses people to be problems.”

“When Solomon says trust, he is telling us that God is somebody you can sit down on.”

“You only submit when you don't agree. A person that's actually submitted to God doesn't require agreement to give God compliance.”

“Economic wealth determines your standard of living, but emotional wealth determines your quality of life.”

“An intercessor is the person talking to God about a problem. The answer is the person God's talking to to be the solution.”

This Week

Identify an area of life where you feel poor in wisdom and commit to studying God's Word for guidance in that area this week.

Stop apologizing for your unique God-given personality and gifts, recognizing that God designed you intentionally for your calling.

Practice true submission by choosing obedience in a specific situation where your preference conflicts with God's Word.

Take one overwhelming worry this week and intentionally 'sit down' on God's promise, trusting His reliability instead of leaning on your own understanding.

Look for a practical problem in someone else's life this week and use your time, talent, or treasure to be an answer to them.

Evaluate your financial stewardship to ensure you are honoring the Lord with the first fruits of your increase.

When you intercede in prayer for a need or problem this week, ask God, 'Lord, how can You use me to be the answer to this prayer?'

Remember This

God strategically designed and created you to be His tangible answer to a problem in the world.
