1.The wilderness is not just a place of killing our dependence on the world; it is also a place of peeling off Egypt cravings from our souls.
2.Attempting to force or control outcomes in other people's lives is trespassing on God's property; change is a matter of a person's will and God's involvement.

4.God uses separation as a sacred method to assist us in our pursuit of holiness and consecration.

This Week

Resist the urge to immediately fill every quiet or awkward moment with social media, television, or busywork.
Set aside consistent early morning or daily alone time to pray and seek God's presence in secret.
Identify areas where you are trying to force or control people and yield those outcomes back to God's lawn of responsibility.
Reframe current seasons of loss or shifting relationships as God detoxing and incubating you for future assignment.
Practice the weapon of thankfulness by daily listing gifts and shifts God is working in your life.
Look for opportunities to serve others, shifting focus away from self-centered isolation into kingdom pouring.
Confront underlying sin or childhood wounds with trusted prayer and counseling rather than filling emotional voids with counterfeits.

Remember This

What we often mislabel as loneliness is actually God's call to holiness and a necessary phase in the Potter's process to form us.

A Challenge for You

As you go into this week, look at every loss as an opportunity for God to make you more holy. Instead of saying 'ouch,' say 'thank you' because God sees more in you than you could ever see in yourself. Lean into the lonely season so God can extract what doesn't belong and put more of Himself in you.
