Key Points

1.A good reputation is highly valuable, but it is deeply damaging when a strong reputation is not undergirded by genuine authenticity.
2.The ancient church in Sardis appeared vibrant and well-thought-of to outsiders, yet Christ evaluated them as completely dead on the inside.
3.A church or individual believer can possess clean organization, structure, and programming while remaining completely void of the Holy Spirit's presence.
4.True spiritual life requires choosing Spirit-reliance over self-reliance, and seeking the power of God's presence over smooth human scheduling.

Remember This

A popular public reputation is empty if it lacks inner authenticity and the Holy Spirit's power; we must wake up from spiritual routine to live truly alive in Christ.
