Summary

At Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ—the eternal Son given to establish God's kingdom and rule in our hearts. Through the Incarnation, God became fully human to understand our grief and struggle, while remaining fully divine to meet our every need. When we move from being passive spectators to fully surrendered followers, Jesus brings divine wisdom, supernatural power, eternal perspective, and true peace into our life's greatest storms.

This Week

Surrender a specific area of confusion or bad decision-making in your life to Jesus, seeking His direction as your Wonderful Counselor.
Identify anything currently overruling your life—such as fear, addiction, or anxiety—and invite the Mighty God to step in and overrule it.
Release the pressure of tight deadlines and uncertain futures by entrusting your schedule to Jesus, the Father of time.
Invite the Prince of Peace into an active relational or family conflict, trusting Him to bring order and calm to the discord.
Examine your walk with God to determine if you are operating as a spectator 'fan' or an active, obedient 'follower' on the field of kingdom service.
If you have never done so, make a clear decision to trust Jesus Christ personally as your Savior for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
Intentionally set aside holiday busyness this Christmas to focus on Christ as the King who desires to rule your daily existence.

Remember This

Jesus was born to rule your life, bringing infallible counsel, divine power, eternal perspective, and lasting peace when you surrender to Him as King.

A Challenge for You

Christmas should not be just a holiday; it should be a reminder that Jesus came to rule your life and be the government of your existence—first by saving you, and then by leading you to follow Him.
