In part five of the Clarity series, Pastor Jerry Flowers and guest speaker Albaner Eugene teach believers how to discern when God is releasing them from a season, relationship, or location. True spiritual clarity allows us to recognize when something has ended by divine order rather than leaving out of emotional frustration, fear, or discomfort. By recognizing indicators like dried brooks, shifting clouds, and the lack of spiritual grace, believers can step into God's next assignment with peace and confidence.

Key Points

1.Clarity that hurts is better than confusion that delays.
2.The brain often interprets change as loss, making it difficult to emotionally discern when God is moving you into something better.
3.Everything on earth—even good things—is seasonal and temporary, requiring us to steward present moments well without holding on past God's release.
4.God sometimes allows the brook to dry up so that you do not get comfortable in a place that was only meant to be temporary.
5.When you are anointed, God will prescribe a 'Cherith'—a place of cutting, carving, and pruning—to prepare your character for what is next.

This Week

Ask the Holy Spirit if your current season or situation is still producing spiritual fruit.
Evaluate whether you are staying in a situation out of fear and people-pleasing or out of genuine obedience to God.
Distinguish between being stretched for spiritual growth and being stressed by enemy distractions.
Stop praying against God's transition by assuming every discomfort or dried-up stream is an attack from the devil.
Release grief over past seasons, asking God to help you stop mourning what His hand is no longer on.
Develop an intentional exit strategy if you are in a situation of toxic bondage or abuse.
Spend time directly in God's presence asking Him to align your heart with His peace regarding your next steps.

Remember This

Spiritual clarity enables you to discern when God has completed a season in your life so you can move forward in obedience rather than clinging to what has ended.

A Challenge for You

Ask the Holy Spirit this week: 'Is this season still producing fruit, is Your grace still on it for me, and do I have Your peace to take the next step?'
