Summary

Many Christians experience a gap between being legally saved and actually experiencing intimacy with God. True spiritual intimacy comes not from mere rule-following, but from a continuous pattern of obedience and daily abiding in Christ from Monday through Saturday. As believers move from keeping rules to loving the Person of God and choosing to exercise agape love toward others, they walk in the light and unlock a vibrant, living relationship with the Father.

1.Just as a couple can be legally married yet miserable, a believer can be justified for heaven without experiencing harmony and intimacy with God.

This Week

Invite Jesus into your daily routine every morning, consulting Him on decisions throughout Monday through Saturday.
Evaluate whether your spiritual life is motivated by religious duty ('have to') or relational love for Christ ('want to').
Identify any unresolved animosity, resentment, or unforgiveness in your heart toward another believer and choose to forgive them.
Practice biblical love this week by making a conscious decision to seek someone's well-being, regardless of your emotional feelings toward them.
Examine your daily speech and actions to see if you are actively walking in the light or tripping over hidden darkness.
Read 1 John 2 and reflect on how keeping Christ's Word deepens your daily experience of God's love.
Find a concrete, practical way to encourage and support a fellow believer in your local church community this week.

Remember This

Intimacy with God is not experienced through Sunday worship alone, but through daily abiding in Christ and choosing to walk in biblical love toward others.

A Challenge for You

Your growth horizontally will affect your intimacy vertically. If you want more of God for you, show some of God to others so that the two connect.
