Pastor's Points
Key Points
- 1.Spiritual maturity is defined as your ability to outgrow mindsets, habits, and sins that used to fit in past seasons.
- 2.When disappointment strikes, Satan attempts to convince believers that continuing to pray and trust God is a waste of time.
- 3.God is not obligated to meet human deadlines, and what we call a delay is often God's intentional timing to reveal a deeper dimension of His identity.
- 4.Difficult seasons of chaos, lack, and hardship create the exact environment needed to experience God personally as Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Jireh, and Jehovah Rapha.
- 5.God's methodology for fulfillment moves through five distinct stages: Request, Delay, Development, Eviction, and Fulfillment.
- 6.Before performing a miracle, Jesus often evicts faithless, mocking, or toxic influences from your environment that are incompatible with His work.
- 7.Following Jesus requires learning how to steward heartbreak without abandoning your trust in God or walking away from your calling.
- 8.True spiritual transformation produces visible life change that naturally demonstrates God's power without needing public boastfulness.

This Week
Remember This
God allows delays and heartbreak not to abandon us, but to mature our faith, remove incompatible influences, and reveal deeper dimensions of His power and identity.
A Challenge for You
Father, many of your sons and daughters are struggling with things that you did not stop, things that you allowed, or even things that we prayed against. We don't understand why, but God, give us the faith to where the why belongs to you, the obedience belongs to us. Help us to recognize that it's arrogant of us to give you a deadline and to get mad at you for not meeting it. Help us to be humble, and help us to steward heartbreak because you are going to do something glorious. These are personal sermon notes shared to help you remember the message — not a replacement for Scripture, your church, or your pastors.
