Key Points

1.Conversion guarantees eternal salvation in heaven, but discipleship is how believers live out Christ's authority in history and time.
2.A disciple is a visible, verbal follower of Jesus Christ who progressively learns to live all of life under His complete authority.
3.Just as Greek influence transformed Rome through the academies of Aristotle, kingdom disciples are called to transform culture through kingdom thinking and living.
4.Christians often act like referees who join the sports teams instead of staying on the field in uniform to represent heaven's authority.
5.Jesus only transfers His divine authority (exousia) to trustworthy disciples who refuse to substitute cultural or political ideas for God's Word.
6.The mandate to make disciples applies comprehensively across four spheres: personal, family, church, and national/civil governance.

Examine your political, racial, and cultural views to ensure they are fully submitted to the supreme authority of the Scripture.
Establish family altars or structured times of discipling family members according to God's defined standards for the home.
Refuse to switch 'rulebooks' when dealing with social or civil challenges, choosing to apply biblical principles to societal issues.
Pray for local and national civil leaders, calling for government institutions to operate under God's established design for authority.
Move from being a passive consumer in church programs to actively mentoring and discipling others in your sphere of influence.

Remember This

Jesus is looking for full-time kingdom disciples who submit every area of life to His rule, not just converts seeking a ticket to heaven.

It is time for us to practice publicly full-time commitment to the lordship of Jesus Christ, or take down our sign and stop false advertising.
