Key Points

1.In Genesis 1, God created the entire cosmos simply through His spoken word, demonstrating the inherent, effectual power of His speech to create something out of nothing.
2.Jesus Christ is the eternal Word (Logos) who was present before creation, was with God in eternal relationship, and is Himself fully God.
3.Jesus serves as the ultimate 'exegesis' of God; to see, know, and behold Christ is to truly understand the nature and character of the Father.
4.When the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, Christ literally 'pitched His tent' or tabernacled with humanity, bridging the divine and human in one person.
5.Humanity's sinful condition causes profound spiritual blindness, causing people to ignore, reject, or fail to worship the Creator who walks among them.

This Week

Spend time reading and meditating on John 1 this week to fix your mind on the eternal divinity and beauty of Jesus.
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of spiritual blindness, pride, or hidden sin in your heart.
When faced with temptation, pause and deliberately bring to mind Christ's sacrifice on the cross to reorient your desires.
Identify and reduce worldly distractions or influences that pull your focus away from seeking God's presence.
Bring your doubts, emotional weariness, and personal struggles directly to God in humble, surrendering prayer.
Practice sharing biblical truth with others with a spirit of gentleness, respect, and sincere love.
Recommit daily to denying yourself, taking up your cross, and living in lived obedience to Jesus as Lord.

Remember This

We were created to behold the supreme glory of Jesus Christ—the eternal Word made flesh—whose grace and truth alone can illuminate our darkness and transform our lives.
