1.Your willingness to detach from something old directly impacts your ability to experience something new in God.
2.Unhealthy emotional ties can feel spiritual, but they must be severed to move into what God has next.
3.Failing to detach may not permanently stop your progress, but it will hold you up and delay what God wants to give you.
4.Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that God has specific purpose and blessings designated for specific seasons and times.
5.If you arrive late to a season because you were held up, you risk missing the specific provisions reserved for that time.
6.God ordains wilderness seasons as temporary stops, but He does not cause long-term wilderness wandering.
7.The Israelites turned an 11-day journey from Egypt to Canaan into a 40-year ordeal because of how they managed the wilderness.
8.How you manage your current wilderness season determines whether you pass through it or make it permanent.

Trust God's divine timing in Ecclesiastes 3 rather than trying to rush or resist His appointed seasons.
Examine your life to see if you are currently wandering in a wilderness that God meant for you to merely pass through.
Surrender control over past comfortable situations so God can place new assignments in your hands.
Declare daily that you will no longer allow delay or hesitation to hold you hostage from God's purpose.

Remember This

God ordains wilderness seasons for our growth, but how we detach from the past determines whether we pass through to His promise or wander in unnecessary delay.

A Challenge for You

Refuse to stay in a wilderness season any longer than God has ordained; choose to manage this season well so you can step into everything He has reserved for you.
