Fill your heart and mind daily with the Bible so that God's Word automatically guides your words and actions during difficult moments.
Subordinate your personal plans, vision boards, and emotional impulses to explicit biblical principles.
Commit to living a year-round lifestyle of spiritual consecration, purity, and prayer rather than relying only on annual fasts.

Remember This

Jesus demonstrated ultimate power and strength through His silent submission to the Father's will during His trial, calling believers to rest in His righteousness, resist the enemy's condemnation, and subject their own wills to God's Word.

Teach them to be completely submitted to your will even if it hurts or costs them. Let us learn from the example of our Savior that we may endure all of our trials of life in the manner in which Christ endured His trial.
