Day 1 · A Lament for Tyre
Ezekiel 27:1–15
Observe
What claim does Tyre make about itself in verse 3, and how do verses 4–11 describe the luxury and skill used to build its reputation?
Apply
Tyre placed its confidence in its beauty, resources, and alliances. What self-made strengths or security might you be tempted to trust in instead of God this week?
In the app, each day also opens the words in the original language, what the passage meant to its first readers, pastors teaching it, a place to write, and a time to pray.
